Q: After the Safety Assessor (SA) completes and signs the safety assessment, what else does the brand need to do?
👉 The SA’s signature signifies that the safety assessment has been completed based on #existing data.
When a brand decides to adopt this report,
it effectively signifies #acceptance and endorsement of the report’s contents. ✔️
Therefore, we recommend that after the report is finalized,
if there are any questions regarding the assessment content, data completeness, or conclusions,
it is essential to clarify these issues at this stage
rather than waiting until subsequent inspections or updates to address them later. ❗️
Q: Does the PIF have an expiration date?
👉 #The PIF itself has no statutory expiration date📝
However, during the product’s time on the market,
the document must be kept #up-to-date and traceable at all times.
This includes changes to formulations, labeling, raw material sources, packaging materials, regulatory updates,
or the emergence of new safety information.
Any changes whatsoever
should be reflected and updated in the PIF file immediately💪
The PIF is not a document that is complete once it is created and submitted;
rather, it is a compliance mechanism that accompanies the product’s lifecycle
and requires #continuous rolling management🪄
