Looking at the development trajectories of leading cities worldwide, the parallel advancement of economic growth and food safety has become a major trend. To prepare for this future trend, the Department of Food Nutrition and Health Biotechnology at Asia University and ATM have actively promoted industry-academia collaboration, aiming to cultivate more professionally skilled inspectors to safeguard future food safety.
Led by Professor Jiang Yu-Zheng, faculty and students from Asia University’s Department of Health Sciences visited ATM to foster students’ interest in the field of food testing. The event featured interactive activities such as food safety lectures, laboratory tours, and game-based challenges, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of food testing through hands-on engagement. The participating students not only demonstrated great enthusiasm and dedication but also deepened their understanding of and interest in food inspection through hands-on activities. Every challenge was filled with a drive to learn, filling the ATM offices with laughter and youthful energy.
We look forward to organizing more similar industry-academia collaboration events in the future to create richer and more diverse learning experiences for our students.
